Giving Back to the Community

Mican Technologies strives to engage in Philanthropy Opportunities.  We are very excited to have the opportunity to sponsor such a wonderful organization as UCOM. 

“UCOM was founded as a vehicle for the faith community to collaborate with resources and efforts while addressing basic needs in our community.  And, friends, this work is hard.  There are many days we worry if we have enough food to share.  We struggle to make sure if the care we provide raises our neighbors in need. We constantly review if we are giving enough encouragement and relief to those living in poverty, so they know they aren’t alone… that their neighbors care about the health and wellness of their family, from their tiny tots to our aging seniors.”

In November 2022, Mican had the honor of being a Founding Neighbor sponsor at the Annual Neighbors Helping Neighbors Gala for the 2ndyear and has helped ensure this special organization continues to reach even more neighbors in need.  In addition to financially supporting UCOM, Mican employees have had the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and assist with food pick up at local partnering grocers and loading the freezers at the UCOM facility, helping to ensure no neighbor goes hungry.
